Are there any opportunities to work abroad?
Currently, we have overseas bases in four countries, and 8 people in each respective station. The resident workers are mainly providing technical guidance, but there are also administrative workers in production management and accounting. Utilizing their knowledge and experience, they are appointed as instructors overseas and also go on business trips in a support role.
Is there a transportation allowance?
In the case of both car transportation and public transportation facilities, we pay this in accordance with the regulations stipulated by our company.
Are there systems of paid leave and maternity leave?
Paid leave is paid for a set number of days based on legal ordinance. There are leave systems for before and after delivery, and when providing child care and nursing care, and anyone can obtain this. Additionally, we apply a short-term work system, enabling employees to be successful in both child rearing at their jobs.
How is the department to which I would belong decided on?
This is determined during the new employee training program after entering the company. We will ask your preference at the hiring interview before you enter the company. Based on this, where you shall work is investigated and determined based on your preferences, applicability, and the company situation.
Do you employ women as well?
Yes, we do. Limits are set on heavy items, and if there is work that may place a strain on your body, we shall investigate any issues, and work to reduce this burden. Additionally, both men and women can use the childcare and nursing care system, and this can be discussed if there are time restrictions, such as the need to take care of your children or family.
Do you have a dormitory or company housing system?
We do not have a dormitory or company housing system, but we do provide a partial subsidy in the form of a housing allowance.
How much annual leave do I get?
We have a system with two days holiday per week on weekends, and there are approximately 120 days leave provided annually. You will need to work on national holidays, but in place of this there are three long holidays of approximately 9 days (Golden Week, Obon, start/end of the year).
